There is no trouble too large for the government to solve, no concern too small for it to care about. Such words might be spoken of God, for whom nothing is impossible. Have you trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged. What a friend we have in Mamdani?

But that's what Marxism does. That's the difference between authoritarians and totalitarians. Marxism is no friend of Jesus, never has been. Marxism seeks to answers everyone's prayers about everything small and great. And with that, Marxism demands your highest allegiance. A Christian might say that he depends on God for all things, for food, clothing, protection, and yes, salvation. The Marxist can never coincide with such a claim. That is why, wherever Marxism is practiced, other and higher loyalties must be pushed aside. A well-ordered life puts God first, family second, and the nation, which is not synonymous with the government, third.

But Marxism is a jealous lover. For government is to be the provider, the place you go to from cradle to grave. Government must be depended upon. Increasing rent control means decreasing private property. Your home doesn't belong to you, but is yours by the grace of government. Your property doesn't belong to you, as you cannot charge a fair rent. Food comes in government stores, for the government provides for you. Who will protect you? You can't do it for yourself. You don't have second amendment rights. Who cares about the small things in your life? Should it not be mom? A sister? Or a neighbor? No, it will be the government.

Of course, it never works that way. Government does not care about you, and Communists have never cared a tiny bit. You will be a number, a statistic, something to be managed. You will become a source of power.

To this we might add that the two greatest threats to the West, what used to be Christendom, come from Islam and Marxism. And now we have them combined. So who is to be our god? Allah or Marx? It's fascinating to watch, if only it weren't the reality facing New York City and much of Europe. Coming soon to a city near you?

Be Encouraged
“Just as the right-hand kingdom’s charge of proclaiming the Gospel and administering the means of grace are enriched by the actual source documents of the Scriptures, the left-hand kingdom’s charge of exposing and punishing evil is made possible by obtaining and divulging evidence that is accessible to our reason and senses.” –Garrett Ziegler
