• THAT ALWAYS REMEMBERS THAT GOD IS AT WORK IN WAYS THAT WE MAY NOT EVEN BE AWARE,

• AND THE ULTIMATE WORK OF GOD IS NOT THE TRANSFORMING OF THIS SINFUL WORLD, BUT THE SAVING OF IT

CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE – REFORMATION RESTRAINT STYLE

• Exhaust all legal means of changing the law, or ensure all means of upholding it have been exhausted

• Validate this opinion with the Scripture and with others not just yourselves

• Maintain a non-violent, civil demeaner in any resistance – beware collateral damage, unintended consequences

• Be specific about the issues (don’t use your freedom carelessly)

• Always exercise restraint….there are forces that will use even “good” change to create chaos and disorder in the end – “tradeoffs always exist”
